...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST MONDAY...
...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING
TO NOON CST MONDAY...

A WINTER STORM WARNING SNOW REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST
MONDAY. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS
EVENING TO NOON CST MONDAY.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...SNOW WILL PERSIST THROUGH TODAY AND
TONIGHT OVER MOST OF EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI
OZARKS.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...THREE TO SIX INCHES OF ADDITIONAL SNOW
ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED ACROSS A LARGE AREA OF MISSOURI.

* WINDS AND VISIBILITY...NORTHERLY WIND GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH WILL
RESULT IN CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW LATER THIS EVENING
AND TONIGHT. VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN A HALF
MILE AT TIMES.

* WIND CHILL VALUES...WIND CHILL VALUES WILL REMAIN AROUND ZERO
TODAY ACROSS THE AREA. TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY...WIND CHILLS
WILL FALL TO BETWEEN 10 AND 20 DEGREES BELOW ZERO.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL ACROSS THE REGION HAS BECOME DIFFICULT AND DANGEROUS.
BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW MAY LIMIT THE VISIBILITY TO NEAR
ZERO AT TIMES. VERY COLD TEMPERATURES WILL RESULT IN A RISK FOR
FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA FOR ANYONE WITHOUT PROPER SHELTER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS WILL RESULT IN
FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS...MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND
GLOVES.
