GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS...WARM TEMPERATURES...AND LOW RELATIVE
HUMIDITY VALUES WILL LEAD TO AN ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER RISK THIS
AFTERNOON.

SOUTHERLY WINDS OF 15 TO 20 MPH WILL BE COMMON WITH GUSTS UP TO 30
MPH POSSIBLE ACROSS THE OZARK PLATEAU AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 44
ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI. MEANWHILE AFTERNOON RELATIVE
HUMIDITY VALUES WILL DROP INTO THE 25 TO 30 PERCENT RANGE.

THESE CONDITIONS COULD LEAD THE RAPID GROWTH AND SPREAD OF WILDFIRES
ESPECIALLY ACROSS OPEN GRASSLAND.
