THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

ELEVATED EXCESSIVE COLD RISK.
LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.
SIGNIFICANT SNOW AND SLEET RISK.

DISCUSSION...

ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS RANGING FROM 2 TO 6 INCHES ARE
EXPECTED OVER EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI OZARKS.
SNOW IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE IN INTENSITY LATE THIS AFTERNOON
THROUGH TONIGHT. SNOW SHOULD END FROM WEST TO EAST AFTER
MIDNIGHT. BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE AND
LIMIT VISIBILITIES TO UNDER A HALF MILE AT TIMES.

WIND CHILLS BETWEEN 10 AND 20 DEGREES BELOW ZERO ARE EXPECTED
THIS EVENING THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. WIND GUSTS UP TO 30
MPH CAN NOT BE RULED OUT THIS EVENING OVER SOME ISOLATED AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

WIND CHILLS OF TEN BELOW ZERO OR LESS CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH
MID DAY MONDAY. WIND CHILLS WILL REMAIN AROUND ZERO DURING THE
DAY MONDAY...AND FALL BELOW ZERO IN SOME LOCATIONS AGAIN MONDAY
NIGHT.
