WEST TO SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS WILL GUST TO 25 MPH AT TIMES LATE THIS
MORNING AND THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS FAR SOUTHERN MISSOURI AND THE
EASTERN OZARKS. MEANWHILE...RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES WILL DROP
INTO THE 17 TO 25 PERCENT RANGE. THE INCREASED WINDS AND LOW
HUMIDITY WILL LEAD TO AN INCREASED POTENTIAL FOR THE RAPID SPREAD
OF ANY WILDFIRES...PARTICULARLY WITHIN DRY GRASSES AND LEAF
LITTER.

MEANWHILE...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED LATE
THIS MORNING AND THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN
KANSAS...AS WELL AS MUCH OF SOUTHWESTERN AND CENTRAL MISSOURI. A
RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THIS AREA...GENERALLY ALONG AND
NORTH OF A NEOSHO TO HARTVILLE TO FORT LEONARD WOOD LINE.
