THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED EXCESSIVE COLD RISK.
ELEVATED ICE ACCUMULATION RISK.
ELEVATED SNOW RISK.

DISCUSSION...

PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE WITH POCKETS OF LIGHT SNOW WILL
CONTINUE INTO TONIGHT. TOTAL STORM ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3
INCHES ARE EXPECTED WITH LOCALIZED AMOUNTS AROUND 4 INCHES.
THE HIGHEST TOTALS WILL OCCUR FROM AROUND BULL SHOALS LAKE TO
WEST PLAINS AND WINONA.

A VERY THIN GLAZE OF ICE WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE
OUTLOOK AREA DUE TO THE PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE.

WIND CHILLS LATE TONIGHT INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING WILL BE
IN THE SINGLE DIGITS BELOW ZERO.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

LOWS WILL DROP TO 5 BELOW TO 5 ABOVE ZERO WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO
THURSDAY MORNING WITH WIND CHILL VALUES FALLING IN THE TEENS
BELOW ZERO. WIND CHILLS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS WILL OCCUR NIGHTLY
THROUGH THE WEEKEND. PORTIONS OF THE NORTHERN OUTLOOK AREA MAY
FALL BELOW ZERO ON A FEW OF THESE NIGHTS.

ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION THIS WEEKEND
BRINGING THE POTENTIAL OF ACCUMULATING SNOW. HOWEVER THE TRACK
AND STRENGTH OF THIS SYSTEM REMAINS UNCERTAIN.
