THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED EXCESSIVE COLD RISK.

DISCUSSION...

WIND CHILL VALUES IN THE SINGLE DIGITS ARE EXPECTED
OVERNIGHT...WITH SOME VALUES NEAR ZERO OVER CENTRAL MISSOURI.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

A QUICK MOVING STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING A WINTRY MIX OF
PRECIPITATION TO THE OUTLOOK AREA ON FRIDAY. UP TO AN INCH OF
SNOW
ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME. SOME SLEET AND LIGHT
FREEZING RAIN WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. ANY ICE ACCUMULATION WILL BE
MINOR.

THIS STORM SYSTEM WILL ALSO BRING GUSTY SOUTHEAST WINDS TO MUCH
OF EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI FROM LATE
THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING. WIND GUSTS OVER 30 MPH ARE
EXPECTED.

PATCHY FOG AND DRIZZLE WILL THEN BE POSSIBLE FRIDAY EVENING. WITH
TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TO FALL BELOW FREEZING...THERE IS A LIMITED
POTENTIAL FOR VERY MINOR ACCUMULATIONS OF ICE ON EXPOSED SURFACES
IF THE FOG AND DRIZZLE MATERIALIZE.

A STRONGER AND MORE PROLONGED STORM SYSTEM WILL THEN IMPACT A
LARGE PORTION OF THE CENTRAL UNITED STATES FROM LATER SATURDAY

FREEZING RAIN...A MIX OF SNOW AND SLEET ARE ALSO EXPECTED.

WIND CHILLS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THROUGH THE
