...WINTRY PRECIPITATION OVERSPREADING THE REGION...

.LIGHT SNOW AND FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CONTINUE TO EXPAND IN
COVERAGE AND MOVE NORTH THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. PRECIPITATION
WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT HOURS...ESPECIALLY
OVER SOUTHERN MISSOURI.

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM A DUSTING TO ONE AND A HALF INCHES.
FREEZING DRIZZLE ACCUMULATIONS WILL CREATE A GLAZE OF ICE ON EXPOSED
SURFACES.

THIS WINTRY PRECIPITATION COULD CREATE DIFFICULT TRAVEL
CONDITIONS DURING THE THURSDAY MORNING COMMUTE TO WORK OR SCHOOL.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR LIGHT SNOW AND FREEZING DRIZZLE REMAINS
IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CST THURSDAY.

* SHORT TERM TRENDS...LIGHT SNOW AND FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL
CONTINUE TO OVERSPREAD THE REGION FROM THE SOUTH THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING...AND EXPAND IN COVERAGE. A MIX OF LIGHT SNOW AND
FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CONTINUE INTO TONIGHT. TEMPERATURES WILL
QUICKLY FALL BELOW FREEZING ONCE PRECIPITATION BEGINS...AND
ROADS MAY BECOME HAZARDOUS IN SOME LOCATIONS.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...ALL OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS AND
EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS FOR LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY
THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...A TRACE UP TO AN INCH AND A HALF OF SNOW
IS EXPECTED.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...A THIN GLAZE OF A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH
OF ICE WILL BE POSSIBLE...CAUSING A GLAZE TO DEVELOP ON EXPOSED
SURFACES.

* IMPACTS...THE COMBINATION OF LIGHT SNOW AND FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL
CREATE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO
EARLY THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
