.LIGHT SNOW AND FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL FALL OVER EXTREME
SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI OZARKS BEGINNING THIS
AFTERNOON...AND WILL CONTINUE INTO THURSDAY.

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM A DUSTING TO TWO INCHES.
MEANWHILE...FREEZING DRIZZLE ACCUMULATIONS COULD CREATE A GLAZE
OF ICE ON EXPOSED SURFACES.

THIS WINTRY PRECIPITATION COULD CREATE DIFFICULT TRAVEL
CONDITIONS DURING THE THURSDAY MORNING COMMUTE TO WORK OR SCHOOL.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY SNOW AND LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE REMAINS IN
EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 3 PM CST THURSDAY.

* SHORT TERM TRENDS...PRECIPITATION SHOULD BEGIN TO OVERSPREAD THE
AREA FROM THE SOUTH DURING THE MID TO LATE AFTERNOON HOURS.
TEMPERATURES WILL QUICKLY FALL BELOW FREEZING AFTER
PRECIPITATION BEGINS. PRECIPITATION SHOULD BEGIN AS LIGHT
SNOW...WITH AN INTERMITTENT MIX OF LIGHT SNOW AND FREEZING
DRIZZLE EXPECTED THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...ALL OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS AND EXTREME
SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS FOR LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THURSDAY
AFTERNOON.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...A TRACE UP TO TWO INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH OF ICE WILL BE
POSSIBLE...CAUSING A GLAZE TO DEVELOP ON EXPOSED SURFACES.

* IMPACTS...THE COMBINATION OF LIGHT SNOW AND FREEZING DRIZZLE
WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS FROM LATE THIS
AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
