TO AROUND 20 BELOW ZERO THROUGH THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT HOURS
TONIGHT. READINGS WILL WARM TO ABOVE ZERO BY LATE MORNING ON
TUESDAY.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND ALL
OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS. ADVISORY CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR TUESDAY
MORNING.

* WIND CHILL VALUES...WIND CHILL VALUES IN THE BETWEEN 10 AND 20
BELOW ZERO WILL BE COMMON THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...WIND CHILLS OF THIS MAGNITUDE CAN RESULT IN FROST BITE
ON EXPOSED SKIN IN AS LITTLE AS 30 MINUTES. THOSE OUTDOORS
WITHOUT SUFFICIENT PROTECTION WILL RUN A HIGH RISK FOR FROST
BITE OR HYPOTHERMIA.

PETS ARE ALSO SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE EXTREME COLD. KEEP PETS INDOORS
