* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...FOR EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND
ALL OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS. WARNING CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR
THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THIS MORNING WITH THE ADVISORY
CONDITIONS OCCURRING THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING.

* WIND CHILL VALUES...WIND CHILL VALUES IN THE MINUS 20 TO MINUS 30
RANGE WILL OCCUR THIS MORNING. WIND CHILL VALUES IN THE MINUS 10
TO MINUS 20 RANGE CAN THEN BE EXPECTED AT TIMES THIS AFTERNOON
INTO TUESDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...DANGEROUSLY COLD CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST EARLY THIS
WEEK. THOSE OUTDOORS WITHOUT SUFFICIENT PROTECTION WILL RUN A
HIGH RISK FOR FROST BITE OR HYPOTHERMIA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND CHILL WARNING MEANS THE COMBINATION OF VERY COLD AIR AND
STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILL VALUES. THIS
WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA OR DEATH IF
PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.

PETS ARE ALSO SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE EXTREME COLD. KEEP PETS INDOORS
