THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

A LIGHT MIX OF WINTRY OF SNOW AND SLEET IS EXPECTED FROM THE MID
AFTERNOON HOURS ON WEDNESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING.
ACCUMULATION WILL GENERALLY RANGE FROM A DUSTING UP TO 2 INCHES.
THE HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL OCCUR EAST OF HIGHWAY 65 AND SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 44...WITH LOWER AMOUNTS TO THE WEST. PRECIPITATION
WILL CHANGE TO FREEZING DRIZZLE OR VERY LIGHT FREEZING RAIN
OVERNIGHT WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY THURSDAY MORNING. A THIN
GLAZE OF A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH OF FREEZING RAIN WILL BE
POSSIBLE ON ALL EXPOSED SURFACES.

YET ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING PERIODS RAIN TO THE REGION
LATE THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. THERE IS A LIMITED
RISK OF FLOODING ACROSS THE AREA DUE TO CONTINUED MELTING OF
EXISTING SNOW AND EXCESS RUNOFF AS A RESULT OF COLD GROUND
TEMPERATURES.
