OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED EXCESSIVE COLD RISK.
LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.
ELEVATED SNOW RISK.

DISCUSSION...

LIGHT SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE OUTLOOK AREA LATE THIS AFTERNOON
INTO THIS EVENING. SNOW WILL END FROM WEST TO EAST LATE TONIGHT.

TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE TO THREE INCHES ARE EXPECTED
GENERALLY ALONG AND NORTH OF HIGHWAY 60...WITH LOCALIZED HIGHER
ACCUMULATIONS NEAR FOUR INCHES ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI. SEE THE
LATEST WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MORE DETAILS.

IN ADDITION TO THE FALLING SNOW...NORTH WINDS OF 15 TO 20 MPH
WITH GUSTS AROUND 30 MPH WILL RESULT IN SOME BLOWING SNOW
TONIGHT. WIND CHILLS WILL FALL INTO THE FIVE BELOW TO FIVE
ABOVE ZERO RANGE LATE TONIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

BITTER COLD TEMPERATURES AND WIND CHILLS WILL PERSIST INTO
EARLY FRIDAY MORNING.

SOUTHERLY WIND GUSTS AROUND 30 MPH ARE THEN EXPECTED ACROSS
EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI ON FRIDAY.

ANOTHER EPISODE OF WIDESPREAD SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED SATURDAY
NIGHT INTO SUNDAY. SOME LOCATIONS COULD EXPERIENCE HEAVY SNOW AS
YET ANOTHER WINTER STORM IMPACTS THE OZARKS.

BITTERLY COLD AIR WILL SPREAD ACROSS REGION SUNDAY NIGHT INTO
TUESDAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL FAIL TO WARM OUT OF THE
TEENS...WHILE OVERNIGHT LOWS COULD DROP BELOW ZERO MONDAY NIGHT.
WIND CHILLS MAY FALL INTO THE FIVE TO FIFTEEN DEGREE BELOW ZERO
RANGE AT TIMES.
