...WINTRY PRECIPITATION CONTINUES OVER THE REGION...

.RAIN AND FREEZING RAIN WAS MOVING INTO THE REGION THIS EVENING.
PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY
MORNING ALONG AND NORTHWEST OF A GALENA TO ROLLA LINE... WITH THE
HEAVIEST AMOUNTS UP TO ONE HALF INCH NORTH OF AN ANDERSON TO
SPRINGFIELD LINE.

TEMPERATURES SHOULD WARM SLIGHTLY ABOVE FREEZING SATURDAY
AFTERNOON...WITH FREEZING RAIN CHANGING TO RAIN IN MOST PLACES
SATURDAY AFTERNOON. IF TEMPERATURES DO NOT WARM AS MUCH AS
EXPECTED...MORE ICE COULD BE POSSIBLE.

THE NEXT ROUND OF PRECIPITATION WILL OCCUR SATURDAY EVENING INTO
SUNDAY MORNING AS AN UPPER LEVEL LOW TRACKS ACROSS THE REGION
WITH RAIN CHANGING OVER TO SNOW. THE HEAVIEST SNOW WITH THIS
SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO JUST CLIP AREAS ALONG AND NORTH OF A

THE WINTER STORM WARNING FOR FREEZING RAIN AND SNOW IS NOW IN
EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST SUNDAY.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN TONIGHT AND
SATURDAY MORNING. PERIODS OF LIGHT SNOW SATURDAY NIGHT AND
SUNDAY.

* SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS...UP TO AN INCH.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF INCH.

* IMPACTS...ICE WILL LIKELY CAUSE SIGNIFICANT TRAVEL PROBLEMS LATE
TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING AND SNOW ON TOP OF ICE WILL
LIKELY WORSEN TRAVEL CONDITIONS SATURDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY
SUNDAY MORNING. ICE COULD ALSO BUILD UP ON TREES AND POWER LINES
WHICH COULD LEAD TO SOME POWER OUTAGES.

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF ICE AND SNOW ARE
EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR
