OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
ELEVATED ICE ACCUMULATION RISK.
ELEVATED SNOW OR SLEET RISK.

DISCUSSION...

ADDITIONAL LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL OCCUR NORTH AND WEST OF THE
INTERSTATE 44 AND MISSOURI HIGHWAY 96 THIS EVENING. A TRACE TO A
FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH OF ICE WILL BE POSSIBLE. THE FREEZING
RAIN MAY BRIEFLY TRANSITION TO SLEET OR SNOW. THOUGH LITTLE
ACCUMULATION MORE THAN A DUSTING IS EXPECTED...SOME ISOLATED
LOCATION COULD SEE UP TO AN INCH.

FLOODING IS ONGOING OVER SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI...AND WILL
LIKELY CONTINUE INTO SUNDAY MORNING IN THIS REGION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

BEHIND THIS STORM SYSTEM...A MUCH COLDER AIR MASS WILL FILTER
INTO THE OUTLOOK AREA. WIND CHILLS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS TO
LOWER TEENS ARE EXPECTED EARLY NEXT WEEK.
