THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
ELEVATED ICE ACCUMULATION RISK.
ELEVATED SNOW AND SLEET RISK.

DISCUSSION...

ADDITIONAL LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL OCCUR NORTH AND WEST OF THE
INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR THIS EVENING. A TRACE UP TO ANOTHER TENTH
OF AN INCH OF ICE WILL BE POSSIBLE.

FLOODING IS ONGOING OVER SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI. ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL RANGING FROM ONE HALF OF AN INCH TO AN INCH AND A HALF
IS EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT OVER SOUTH CENTRAL
MISSOURI. FLOODING IS LIKELY TO CONTINUE INTO SUNDAY MORNING IN
THIS REGION.

FREEZING RAIN WILL TRANSITION OVER TO A FREEZING DRIZZLE...SLEET
AND THEN LIGHT SNOW LATER TONIGHT OVER AREAS ROUGHLY
ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM PITTSBURG KANSAS TO LAKE OF THE
OZARKS. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM A TRACE TO TWO
INCHES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

BEHIND THIS STORM SYSTEM...A MUCH COLDER AIR MASS WILL FILTER
INTO THE OUTLOOK AREA. WIND CHILLS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS TO
LOWER TEENS ARE EXPECTED EARLY NEXT WEEK.
