THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
ELEVATED ICE ACCUMULATION RISK.
ELEVATED SNOW AND SLEET RISK.

DISCUSSION...

ADDITIONAL LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL OCCUR NORTH AND WEST OF THE
INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR THIS EVENING. A TRACE UP TO ANOTHER
TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE WILL BE POSSIBLE.

FLOODING IS ONGOING OVER SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI...AND EVEN
THOUGH THE THREAT OF HEAVY RAINFALL HAS ENDING... FLOODING WILL
LIKELY CONTINUE INTO SUNDAY MORNING IN THIS REGION.

FREEZING RAIN WILL TRANSITION OVER TO FREEZING DRIZZLE...SLEET
AND LIGHT SNOW LATER TONIGHT OVER AREAS ROUGHLY ALONG AND NORTH
OF A LINE FROM PITTSBURG KANSAS TO LAKE OF THE OZARKS. SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM A TRACE TO TWO INCHES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

BEHIND THIS STORM SYSTEM...A MUCH COLDER AIR MASS WILL FILTER
INTO THE OUTLOOK AREA. WIND CHILLS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS TO
LOWER TEENS ARE EXPECTED EARLY NEXT WEEK.
