THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

ELEVATED FOG RISK.
LIMITED ICE ACCUMULATION RISK.
ELEVATED SNOW RISK.

DISCUSSION...

A MIX OF RAIN...FREEZING RAIN...AND SNOW WILL TRANSITION
TO MAINLY SNOW FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE OUTLOOK
AREA BETWEEN NOW AND 4 AM. SNOW WILL THEN END FROM WEST TO EAST
LATE TONIGHT WITH PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE THEN EXPECTED TO
DEVELOP ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI
BEFORE DAYBREAK. A TRACE TO A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH OF ICE
ACCUMULATION ARE EXPECTED. STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL
RANGE FROM 3 TO 6 INCHES GENERALLY ALONG AND EAST OF A
VERSAILLES TO GREENFIELD TO CASSVILLE LINE. A NARROW BAND OF
LOCALLY HIGHER ACCUMULATIONS UP TO 7 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE.

AREAS OF FOG WITH VISIBILITIES DOWN TO A HALF MILE OR LESS CAN
BE EXPECTED OVERNIGHT ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND
WESTERN MISSOURI.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL IMPACT MUCH OF THE OUTLOOK AREA SATURDAY
MORNING.

COLD MORNING TEMPERATURES WILL RETURN AGAIN SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
WITH SOME AREAS SEEING WIND CHILL VALUES NEAR 10 DEGREES.
