OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS ALL OF
THE MISSOURI OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS THURSDAY
AFTERNOON. LOCALIZED AREAS ACROSS SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI MAY
APPROACH SIGNIFICANT FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR A BRIEF TIME
THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

SUSTAINED SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS
OVER 30 MPH WILL BE COMMON FROM THURSDAY THROUGH THE UPCOMING
WEEKEND ACROSS WESTERN MISSOURI AND EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN
KANSAS. WINDS THIS WEEKEND COULD EVEN BE A BIT STRONGER AS
LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPS AND TRACKS ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS WEEKEND AS INSTABILITY
INCREASES AHEAD OF THAT LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM. SOME STORMS MAY
BECOME STRONG OVER THE EASTERN OZARKS IF ENOUGH INSTABILITY
DEVELOPS.
