OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

ELEVATED ICE ACCUMULATION RISK.
LIMITED SNOW AND SLEET RISK.

DISCUSSION...

A LIGHT WINTRY MIX OF SLEET...SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN WILL
CONTINUE TO IMPACT PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS ALONG AND
EAST OF THE HIGHWAY 65 CORRIDOR THIS AFTERNOON. FREEZING RAIN
WILL BE VERY LIGHT RANGING FROM OF A TRACE TO A COUPLE ONE
HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH. A DUSTING TO ONE HALF INCH OF SLEET AND
SNOW WILL ALSO OCCUR...WITH THE HIGHER AMOUNTS EXPECTED ACROSS
SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI.

ALTHOUGH ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE LIGHT...SLICK SPOTS WILL DEVELOP
ON AREA ROADS...AND ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

A REINFORCING SHOT OF COLD AIR WILL DROP TEMPERATURES INTO THE
TEENS TUESDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING WITH WIND
CHILL VALUES IN THE SINGLE DIGITS.
