THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

LIMITED EXCESSIVE COLD RISK.

WIND CHILLS IN THE UPPER SINGLE DIGITS AND LOWER TEENS ARE
EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING AS WINDS
INCREASE OUT OF THE SOUTH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

A DRY AIR MASS AND INCREASING SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL LEAD TO
AREAS OF ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI AND EXTREME
SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE ON THURSDAY AS SUSTAINED WINDS
OF 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO AROUND 30 MPH ARE EXPECTED ACROSS
WESTERN MISSOURI AND EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS. THE
COMBINATION OF THESE WINDS AND CONTINUED DRY CONDITIONS WILL
RESULT IN ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ACROSS THE ENTIRE
OUTLOOK AREA THURSDAY AFTERNOON. GRASS FIRES IN THESE
CONDITIONS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO QUICKLY GROW AND SPREAD.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS LATE NEXT WEEKEND
INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.
