THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER RISK.

DISCUSSION...

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST THIS AFTERNOON
GENERALLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR AND
WEST OF HIGHWAY 65. GRASS AND BRUSH FIRES IN THESE CONDITIONS
WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO QUICKLY GROW AND SPREAD.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT TONIGHT FOR
MUCH OF THE AREA...GENERALLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 54.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED THROUGH LATE FRIDAY. A
WIDESPREAD...STORM TOTAL RAINFALL OF ONE TO TWO INCHES IS
EXPECTED. LOCALIZED HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE...WHICH WILL
RESULT IN A LIMITED RISK FOR FLOODING ACROSS MUCH OF THE
OUTLOOK AREA...PARTICULARLY THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT.

LIGHT SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY
MORNING AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVES ACROSS THE MIDWEST.
THERE IS A LIMITED RISK FOR LIGHT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ACCUMULATION.
