THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN
KANSAS AND PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS ALONG AND WEST OF THE
HIGHWAY 65 CORRIDOR TODAY.

AS SCATTERED SHOWERS DEVELOP ACROSS THE REGION THIS MORNING...A
FEW SLEET PELLETS MAY MIX IN AT THE ONSET OF RAINFALL.
TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN WELL ABOVE FREEZING AND ANY SLEET THAT
DOES FALL WILL MELT ON CONTACT.

ADDITIONAL...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT
TONIGHT FOR MUCH OF THE AREA...GENERALLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF
HIGHWAY 54.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED THROUGH LATE FRIDAY. A
WIDESPREAD...STORM TOTAL RAINFALL OF ONE TO TWO INCHES IS
EXPECTED. LOCALIZED HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE...WHICH WILL
RESULT IN A LIMITED RISK FOR FLOODING ACROSS MUCH OF THE OUTLOOK
AREA...PARTICULARLY THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT.

LIGHT SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING
AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVES ACROSS THE MIDWEST. THERE IS
A LIMITED RISK FOR LIGHT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ACCUMULATION.
