THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THE OUTLOOK AREA
THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THIS EVENING. THE STORMS WILL BE MOST
NUMEROUS GENERALLY SOUTHEAST OF A JOPLIN TO ROLLA LINE. THE
STRONGER STORMS WILL PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL...FREQUENT
LIGHTNING...AND WIND GUSTS TO 35 MPH. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT
EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL BRING A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY
NIGHT INTO EARLY SATURDAY. A FEW STRONGER STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
LATE FRIDAY EVENING OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI
WITH ONLY A LOW RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER. THUNDERSTORM WINDS WILL
BE THE MAIN POTENTIAL HAZARD.
