THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
LIMITED FOG RISK.

DISCUSSION...

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THE OUTLOOK AREA
THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING. THE STORMS WILL BE MOST
NUMEROUS GENERALLY SOUTHEAST OF A JOPLIN TO ROLLA LINE. THE
STRONGER STORMS WILL PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL...OCCASIONAL
LIGHTNING...AND WIND GUSTS TO 35 MPH. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT
EXPECTED.

PATCHY FOG WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY TOMORROW
MORNING ESPECIALLY WHERE AREAS SAW RAINFALL TODAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

WIND GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER PORTIONS OF
SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND EXTREME WESTERN MISSOURI WEST OF THE I-49
CORRIDOR THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL BRING A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY
NIGHT INTO EARLY SATURDAY. A FEW STRONGER STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
FRIDAY NIGHT OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI WITH ONLY
A LOW RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER. THUNDERSTORM WINDS WILL BE THE MAIN
POTENTIAL HAZARD.
