THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED HAIL RISK.
LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

A LARGE AREA OF RAIN AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO
MOVE EAST ACROSS THE AREA THIS MORNING. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY LINGER INTO THE AFTERNOON
HOURS. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL REMAINS POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY IN
AREAS NORTH OF THE INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS
MAY BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING SMALL HAIL TO THE SIZE OF
DIMES...HOWEVER THE RISK FOR SMALL HAIL APPEARS TO BE DECREASING
DUE TO A LACK OF INSTABILITY.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT AS ACTIVITY
MOVES IN FROM THE PLAINS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

SOUTH WIND GUSTS TO 30 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS EXTREME
SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI ON WEDNESDAY.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS WILL THEN BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT INTO
THURSDAY. A LIMITED TO ELEVATED RISK FOR STRONG TO SEVERE
STORMS WILL OCCUR ON WEDNESDAY PRIMARILY ACROSS WESTERN
MISSOURI AND EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS. ANY ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL THAT FALLS ON WEDNESDAY OVER AREAS THAT RECEIVED HEAVY
RAINFALL ON TUESDAY MAY SEE SOME ISOLATED FLOODING.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THROUGH TONIGHT.
