THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED HAIL RISK.
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
ELEVATED FLOODING RISK.
SIGNIFICANT LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SEVERAL ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT THE AREA
THROUGH TONIGHT. THE PRIMARY HAZARD EXPECTED WITH THIS ACTIVITY
WILL BE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL THAT COULD CAUSE FLASH
FLOODING... ESPECIALLY IN AREAS THAT RECEIVED HEAVY RAINFALL ON
TUESDAY. THE RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER WITH THIS SYSTEM IS LOW. A
FEW STORMS MAY BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL TO THE SIZE OF DIMES
AND LOCALIZED WIND GUSTS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL LINGER INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS
ON THURSDAY WITH CLEARING FROM WEST TO EAST. BY THE TIME
RAINFALL HAS STOPPED ON THURSDAY...A STORM TOTAL RAINFALL
ACCUMULATION OF ONE TO THREE INCHES IS EXPECTED. LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS CANNOT BE RULED OUT. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT
FROM THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON FOR THE ENTIRE
OUTLOOK AREA.
