OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED TORNADO RISK.
LIMITED HAIL RISK.
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.

DISCUSSION...

FOR THE REST OF THIS AFTERNOON...THERE REMAINS A CONDITIONAL
RISK FOR A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF
SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI AND THE EASTERN OZARKS...IF ENOUGH
INSTABILITY CAN DEVELOP. THE PRIMARY RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THESE
STORMS WILL BE LOCALLY DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND HAIL UP TO THE
SIZE OF QUARTERS. IN ADDITION...WHILE A VERY LIMITED THREAT...A
BRIEF TORNADO CAN NOT BE RULED OUT WITH ANY SEVERE STORMS.

IN ADDITION TO THE THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL...NON THUNDERSTORM
WINDS MAY GUST TO ABOVE 30 MPH DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS ACROSS
SOUTHERN MISSOURI.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

ADDITIONAL CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR DURING THE
EARLY AND MIDDLE PORTIONS OF THE NEXT WORK WEEK.
