THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED HAIL RISK.
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SHOWERS AND SOME EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TODAY
ACROSS THE AREA. SOME OF THE STRONGER STORMS MAY BE CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING SOME SMALL HAIL AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH. HEAVY
RAIN WILL PRODUCE RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO AN INCH IN LOCATIONS
GENERALLY NORTH OF THE INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR. SOME ISOLATED
LOCATIONS MAY RECEIVE HIGHER AMOUNTS. WIDESPREAD FLOODING IS
NOT EXPECTED...HOWEVER SOME PONDING OF WATER WILL BE POSSIBLE
WHERE HEAVY RAIN OCCURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

SOUTH WIND GUSTS TO 30 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS EXTREME
SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI ON WEDNESDAY.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS WILL THEN BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT INTO
THURSDAY. A LIMITED TO ELEVATED RISK FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS
WILL OCCUR ON WEDNESDAY PRIMARILY ACROSS WESTERN MISSOURI AND
EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS. ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL THAT FALLS
ON WEDNESDAY OVER AREAS THAT RECEIVED HEAVY RAINFALL ON TUESDAY
MAY SEE SOME ISOLATED FLOODING.
