OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.
SIGNIFICANT FOG RISK.

DISCUSSION...

THROUGH 10 AM...DENSE FOG WILL OCCUR OVER PARTS OF THE AREA...MAINLY
IN COUNTIES ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 44 AND AROUND AREA
LAKES. PATCHY DENSE FOG IS POSSIBLE ELSEWHERE.

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL BRING A CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS...MAINLY THIS AFTERNOON. SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT
EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AT TIMES THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL BRING A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY
NIGHT INTO EARLY SATURDAY. A FEW STRONGER STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
LATE FRIDAY EVENING OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI
WITH ONLY A LOW RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER. THUNDERSTORM WINDS WILL
BE THE MAIN POTENTIAL HAZARD.
