THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A DENSE
FOG ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI GENERALLY
ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 44 THROUGH 10 AM.

* VISIBILITY...THE VISIBILITY WILL DROP TO AT OR BELOW A QUARTER
OF A MILE OVER LARGE PORTIONS OF THE ADVISORY AREA.

* IMPACTS...AUTO TRAVEL WILL BE IMPAIRED. PART OF INTERSTATE 44
ALONG WITH HIGHWAYS 60 AND 65 WILL BE IMPACTED. PEDESTRIANS
WALKING ALONG ROADS SHOULD BE VERY CAREFUL AND TRY TO MAKE
THEMSELVES AS VISIBLE AS POSSIBLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...
