WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

AFTERNOON HEAT INDEX VALUES IN THE MIDDLE 90S ARE EXPECTED THIS
AFTERNOON.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS FAR SOUTHERN
MISSOURI THIS AFTERNOON.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
MISSOURI AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS TOWARD DAYBREAK THURSDAY AS A COLD
FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE NORTH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE ON THURSDAY AS A COLD
FRONT MOVES SOUTH THROUGH THE AREA. A STRONG STORM OR TWO MAY BE
POSSIBLE OVER SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI BUT OVERALL SEVERE WEATHER
CHANCES WILL BE LOW.

THERE IS THEN ANOTHER SLIGHT CHANCE FOR STORMS FROM LATE THIS
SUNDAY INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.
