OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

SIGNIFICANT FOG RISK.

DISCUSSION...

WIDESPREAD DENSE FOG WILL AFFECT PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND
SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI THE REMAINDER OF THIS MORNING...MAINLY IN
AREAS ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM LAMAR...TO GREENFIELD...TO
BOLIVAR...TO THE LAKE OF THE OZARKS REGION. VISIBILITY LESS THAN
ONE QUARTER MILE CAN BE EXPECTED. PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL BE
POSSIBLE OVER PORTIONS OF EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS...FROM
FORT SCOTT TO THE GIRARD AND PITTSBURG AREAS. THIS FOG WILL
BEGIN TO LIFT AROUND MIDDAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE THIS WEEKEND AS AN UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND COLD FRONT APPROACH THE AREA SATURDAY AND
SUNDAY.
