OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
SIGNIFICANT LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL GRADUALLY TRANSLATE OVER EXTREME
SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI OZARKS TODAY AND TONIGHT. THE
PRIMARY RISKS WITH THE STRONGER STORMS WILL BE CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING AND PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN. A FEW STORMS CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING 50 MPH WIND GUSTS CAN NOT BE RULED OUT. HOWEVER...AN
ORGANIZED RISK FOR SEVERE STORMS IS NOT FORECASTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE NEXT WEEK AS ANOTHER
COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE REGION.
