THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A DENSE
FOG ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...FAR SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND PARTS OF
WEST CENTRAL...CENTRAL...AND SOUTHWEST MISSOURI THROUGH 9 AM.

* VISIBILITY...THE VISIBILITY WILL DROP TO AT OR BELOW A QUARTER
OF A MILE OVER LARGE PORTIONS OF THE ADVISORY AREA.

* IMPACTS...AUTO TRAVEL WILL BE IMPAIRED. PART OF INTERSTATES 49
AND 44 WILL BE IMPACTED. PEDESTRIANS WALKING ALONG ROADS SHOULD
BE VERY CAREFUL AND TRY TO MAKE THEMSELVES AS VISIBLE AS
POSSIBLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...
