SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE MOVE ACROSS
SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI OZARKS THIS AFTERNOON. BRIEF
HEAVY RAINFALL AND OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING STRIKES CAN BE EXPECTED
FROM THESE STORMS. WIND GUSTS TO 30 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE
STRONGER STORMS.

RAINFALL RATES OF ONE QUARTER TO THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH PER
HOUR CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE HEAVIER SHOWERS. HEAVY RAINS MAY
QUICKLY FLOOD LOW LYING OR POOR DRAINAGE AREAS SUCH AS
CREEKS...DITCHES...CITY STREETS AND UNDERPASSES.

THE STRONGEST STORMS WILL AFFECT AREAS FROM WASOLA TO ROLLA AND
LOCATIONS TO THE EAST THROUGH 2 PM.
