THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

RESIDUAL MINOR FLOODING WILL CONTINUE TODAY ACROSS LOW LYING
AREAS AND NEAR CREEKS...STREAMS AND RIVERS ACROSS PARTS OF
THE AREA.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT AS A
FRONT BEGINS TO LIFT BACK THROUGH THE AREA AND AN UPPER LEVEL
DISTURBANCE MOVES INTO THE AREA FROM THE NORTHWEST.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL AGAIN BE POSSIBLE MONDAY INTO TUESDAY ACROSS
MOST OF THE AREA.

INGREDIENTS FOR ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN PRODUCING THUNDERSTORMS MAY
COME TOGETHER LATE MONDAY...MONDAY NIGHT...INTO TUESDAY EVENING.
THUNDERSTORMS WILL EITHER MOVE ALONG OR DEVELOP NEAR A FRONTAL
BOUNDARY THAT WILL EXTEND FROM THE CENTRAL PLAINS SOUTHEAST INTO
THE OZARKS REGION. SOME STRONGER STORMS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE
DURING THIS TIME. THE BEST CHANCES FOR HEAVIER RAIN AND POSSIBLE
FLOODING WILL BE OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS INTO SOUTHWEST AND FAR
SOUTHERN MISSOURI...MAINLY SOUTH OF A LINE FROM FORT SCOTT AND
NEVADA TO BOLIVAR AND EMINENCE.
