WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

ISOLATED SHOWERS AND A FEW EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE ACROSS FAR SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI THIS
AFTERNOON...SOUTHEAST OF A SALEM TO WEST PLAINS MISSOURI LINE.
ISOLATED CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKES WILL BE THE MAIN RISK
WITH ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT ARE ABLE TO DEVELOP. THIS ACTIVITY
WILL BE SHORT LIVED IN NATURE AND COVERAGE VERY LIMITED WITH
MOST LOCATIONS REMAINING DRY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

TEMPERATURES AND HUMIDITY WILL RETURN TO CLOSER TO NORMAL AUGUST
CONDITIONS DURING THE END OF THIS WEEK INTO NEXT WEEKEND. AS A
RESULT HEAT INDEX VALUES IN THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 90S WILL BE
POSSIBLE EACH AFTERNOON FROM THURSDAY INTO NEXT WEEKEND.
