LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
ELEVATED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

HEAT INDEX READING WILL RANGE FROM 101 TO 105 ACROSS THE REGION
THIS AFTERNOON. AREAS NORTH OF INTERSTATE 44 WILL SEE THE
WARMEST READINGS THIS AFTERNOON. A HEAT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT
FROM NOON TO 8 PM THIS EVENING.

AN ISOLATES THUNDERSTORM MAY BE POSSIBLE LATE THIS EVENING INTO
THE OVERNIGHT IN ADVANCE OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL RANGE FROM 100 TO 104 DEGREES SUNDAY
AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT WITH THE
PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT. SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED.
