ELEVATED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL RANGE FROM 100 TO 105 DEGREES ACROSS THE
REGION THIS AFTERNOON. AREAS NORTH OF INTERSTATE 44 WILL SEE THE
HOTTEST TEMPERATURES WHERE A HEAT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FROM
NOON TO 8 PM THIS EVENING.

AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM MAY DEVELOP LATE THIS EVENING INTO THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS IN ADVANCE OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL RANGE FROM 100 TO 104 DEGREES SUNDAY
AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT WITH THE
PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT. SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED.
