THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED HAIL RISK.
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
ELEVATED FLOODING RISK.
ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON
INTO THIS EVENING AS A COLD FRONT MOVES SOUTH INTO THE REGION.
MODEST INSTABILITY AND WEAK WIND SHEAR WILL RESULT IN A LIMITED
RISK FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS. LOCALIZED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS
WILL BE THE PRIMARY RISK.

ONCE AGAIN...THESE STORMS WILL BRING LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL
AMOUNTS. THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING TORRENTIAL
RAINFALL IS A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. WITH SATURATED GROUNDS
ACROSS THE REGION...THE FLASH FLOOD RISK REMAINS ELEVATED.
ESPECIALLY IN ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND FAR
SOUTHERN MISSOURI.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

LINGERING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS
EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND FAR SOUTHERN MISSOURI TUESDAY
MORNING. THIS ACTIVITY WILL EXIT TO THE SOUTH BY THURSDAY
AFTERNOON.
