SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT PARTS OF WESTERN AND SOUTHERN
MISSOURI EARLY THIS MORNING.

AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDS FROM THE OSCEOLA AREA SOUTH TO
THE SPRINGFIELD AREA...THEN SOUTH TO THE ARKANSAS STATE LINE FROM
SOUTH OF CASSVILLE TO NEAR BRANSON CONTINUES TO SHIFT SOUTHEAST AT
20 TO 25 MPH.

THROUGH 730 AM...THESE STORMS WILL AFFECT AN AREA FROM HERMITAGE
AND BOLIVAR SOUTH THROUGH THE SPRINGFIELD AREA THEN SOUTH TOWARD
THE ARKANSAS LINE FROM CASSVILLE TO BRANSON. OTHER SCATTERED
STORMS WILL ALSO AFFECT AREAS FROM SOUTHEAST KANSAS INTO FAR
SOUTHWEST MISSOURI FROM JOPLIN TO ANDERSON.

SMALL HAIL...WIND GUSTS OF 30 TO 40 MPH...HEAVY RAINFALL WITH
RAINFALL RATES BRIEFLY REACHING AN INCH OR TWO PER HOUR...AND
FREQUENT LIGHTNING CAN BE EXPECTED. POOR DRAINAGE AREAS MAY
BRIEFLY BE OVERWHELMED BY HEAVY RAINFALL IN URBAN AREAS.
