OF EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI. IN
ADDITION...SHOWERS AND STORMS THAT ARE CURRENTLY DEVELOPING OVER
CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EASTWARD. AS A
RESULT...A GRADUAL INCREASE IN SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM COVERAGE IS
EXPECTED HEADING INTO THE EVENING HOURS. THIS ACTIVITY WILL
PRODUCE FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND WITH A VERY MOIST
AIRMASS IN PLACE...RAINFALL WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES. A FLOOD WATCH
IS IN EFFECT TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING.
