THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED HAIL RISK.
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
SIGNIFICANT LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

A FEW ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON
INTO EARLY THIS EVENING. THE MAIN RISK WITH ANY OF THIS
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL BE OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING STRIKES.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL THEN INCREASE IN COVERAGE ACROSS EASTERN
KANSAS LATER THIS EVENING AND WILL DEVELOP AND SPREAD EAST
ACROSS THE OUTLOOK AREA THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS INTO
TUESDAY. WHILE THE OVERALL SEVERE WEATHER RISK IS LOW...A FEW
STRONG STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATER THIS EVENING MAINLY WEST OF
AN OSCEOLA TO CASSVILLE MISSOURI LINE WITH HAIL TO THE SIZE OF
PENNIES AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 50 MPH THE MAIN RISKS.

RAINFALL...WHICH COULD BE HEAVY AT TIMES...WILL OCCUR OVERNIGHT
AND CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY. WIDESPREAD RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO
TWO INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE
HIGHEST AMOUNTS OCCURRING NORTH OF OF HIGHWAY 60. WIDESPREAD
FLOODING IS NOT EXPECTED BUT LOCALIZED FLOODING OF STREAMS AND
CREEKS MAY DEVELOP OVERNIGHT INTO TUESDAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE ONGOING THROUGH TUESDAY WITH LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL AND THE RISK OF LOCALIZED FLOODING CONTINUING NORTH OF
HIGHWAY 60 THROUGH INTO TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY MAY LINGER INTO WEDNESDAY WITH ADDITIONAL
CHANCES FOR STORMS THIS FRIDAY AND INTO THE WEEKEND.
