THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

ELEVATED HAIL RISK.
ELEVATED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
SIGNIFICANT LIGHTNING RISK.
ELEVATED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE ACROSS THE OUTLOOK
AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. THE BEST CHANCE THROUGH
LATE AFTERNOON WILL BE OVER EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND
SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI.

LATER THIS EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS...A LARGE COMPLEX OF
STORMS IS EXPECTED TO APPROACH FROM THE WEST. A FEW OF THESE
STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL LEADING TO
FLASH FLOODING CAN NOT BE RULED OUT LATE TONIGHT.

HEAT INDICES WILL APPROACH 100 DEGREES ACROSS PORTIONS OF
CENTRAL MISSOURI.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

THERE WILL BE SEVERAL CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH MOST OF
THE WORK WEEK. THE OZARKS WILL REMAIN POSITIONED WITHIN A
FAVORABLE PATTERN FOR BOTH OVERNIGHT AND AFTERNOON
THUNDERSTORMS THIS WEEK.
