ELEVATED FLOODING RISK.
SIGNIFICANT FOG RISK.

DISCUSSION...

ONGOING FLOODING CONTINUES WHERE EXCESSIVE RAIN OCCURRED MONDAY
EVENING AND EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. WATER IS SLOWLY RECEDING...
HOWEVER NUMEROUS ROADS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS REMAIN CLOSED
ACROSS PORTIONS OF EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN
MISSOURI.

AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL DEVELOP AFTER MIDNIGHT WITH THE BEST
CHANCES OVER SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND FAR WESTERN MISSOURI.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

NIGHTTIME FOG WILL AGAIN BE POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY
THURSDAY MORNING.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL AGAIN BE POSSIBLE FROM LATE THURSDAY NIGHT
INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK AS A FRONTAL BOUNDARY STALLS ACROSS THE
REGION.

AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES IN THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 90S ARE EXPECTED
FROM LATE THIS WEEK INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK PRIMARILY ACROSS
SOUTHERN MISSOURI AND EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS. AFTERNOON HEAT
INDEX VALUES IN THE UPPER 90S TO NEAR 100 DEGREES WILL BE
POSSIBLE
MONDAY OVER MUCH OF THE AREA.
