THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
SIGNIFICANT FOG RISK.

DISCUSSION...

AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL CONTINUE EARLY THIS MORNING FROM
CENTRAL AND WESTERN MISSOURI...BACK INTO EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN
KANSAS. PATCHY FOG WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE REMAINDER
OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS EARLY THIS MORNING.

ONGOING FLOODING CONTINUES WHERE EXCESSIVE RAIN OCCURRED MONDAY
EVENING AND EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. WATER IS SLOWLY RECEDING...
HOWEVER MULTIPLE ROADS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS REMAIN CLOSED
ACROSS PORTIONS OF EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN
MISSOURI.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE CORN BELT
REGION AND MAY TRACK INTO CENTRAL MISSOURI BY SUNRISE ON
FRIDAY. DEPENDING ON THE TRACK AND TIMING OF THIS COMPLEX OF
STORMS...ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS MAY THEN DEVELOP FROM LATER
FRIDAY INTO FRIDAY EVENING. WHILE STORMS FRIDAY MORNING ARE
CURRENTLY EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOW SEVERE LIMITS...ENOUGH
INSTABILITY AND WIND SHEAR MAY BE PRESENT FOR A FEW STRONG
TO SEVERE STORMS FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL THEN REMAIN POSSIBLE THROUGH THIS WEEKEND
INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK AS A FRONTAL BOUNDARY STALLS ACROSS THE
REGION. WHILE THE THREAT FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS REMAINS
UNCLEAR FOR THIS TIME PERIOD...THE OVERALL WEATHER PATTERN
DOES SUPPORT THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAINFALL WHERE MULTIPLE
ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS TRACK.

AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES IN THE MIDDLE 90S TO AROUND 100 DEGREES
ARE EXPECTED FROM LATE THIS WEEK INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK
PRIMARILY ACROSS SOUTHERN MISSOURI AND EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN
