KANSAS...JOPLIN...SPRINGFIELD...LEBANON AND ROLLA AREAS NORTH TO
FORT SCOTT...STOCKTON...AND THE LAKE OF THE OZARKS REGION. GUSTY
NORTH WINDS AHEAD OF THE STORMS WILL PRODUCE 30 TO 45 MPH.
FREQUENT LIGHTNING WILL ALSO OCCUR WITH SOME STRONGER STORMS.
AREAS OF HEAVY RAINFALL CAN BE EXPECTED WITH RAINFALL RATES OF TWO
INCHES PER HOUR IN SOME SPOTS. THE HEAVY RAIN MAY LEAD TO THE
FLOODING OF LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.
