OF CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI THIS AFTERNOON. STORMS WILL
AFFECT AREAS GENERALLY EAST OF AN APPLETON CITY TO MOUNT VERNON
TO CASSVILLE LINE THROUGH 4 PM. THE STRONGER STORMS ACROSS CENTRAL
MISSOURI WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL...WIND
GUSTS TO 50 MPH...SMALL HAIL AND CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. RAINFALL
RATES UP TO AN INCH PER HOUR WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGEST
STORMS.
