AND JOPLIN AREAS EAST AND NORTHEAST TO THE
SPRINGFIELD...MARSHFIELD...ROLLA...AND SALEM AREAS. FREQUENT
LIGHTNING WILL ALSO OCCUR WITH SOME STRONGER STORMS. AREAS OF
HEAVY RAINFALL CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THE HEAVIEST RAIN OCCURRING
FROM THE COLUMBUS AND PITTSBURG KANSAS AREAS EAST AND SOUTHEAST TO
THE LAMAR AND JOPLIN AREAS WHERE RAINFALL RATES OF ONE TO TWO
INCHES PER HOUR WILL BRIEFLY BE POSSIBLE.
