PARTS OF SOUTHEAST KANSAS INTO SOUTHERN MISSOURI. CLUSTERS OF
STORMS WILL AFFECT AREAS FROM BOLIVAR WEST TO COLUMBUS
KANSAS...AREAS FROM JOPLIN AND SPRINGFIELD SOUTH TO THE ARKANSAS
STATE LINE...AND ACROSS EASTERN SECTIONS OF THE OZARKS FROM WEST
PLAINS NORTHEAST TO SALEM.

A FEW STRONGER STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF WIND GUSTS OF OVER 40
MPH AND SMALL HAIL. BECAUSE OF THE VERY SLOW MOVEMENT OF
STORMS...LOCALIZED VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL OCCUR WHICH CAN LEAD
TO THE FLOODING OF LOW LYING TERRAIN...LOW WATER CROSSINGS...AND
POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.
